I enjoy this piece in person, but not as much photographed. Each of the "umbrellas" is a half-orb (well, not quite half) that is permanently attached to the silver background. I was hoping for more of the colors to reflect onto the background to help complete the work, but there's just not a lot of reflecting going on at all. I'm thinking about getting out my paintbrush and modifying both the dark silver & light silver backgrounds. Any votes to leave it as-is or get crazy?
I like it as is so I can study the design/colors.
