I have to give due credit to Idaho for this piece (which looks A LOT better in-person than we were able to capture through the camera!). Driving through Idaho inspired the rustic serenity in earth tones. Seeing this work brings back fond memories for me of Lava Hot Springs and helps me take a refreshing breath in the midst of a normal, chaotic lifestyle. The background stands out from the black base -it's hard to see in the photo, but there's a layer of light yellow behind, then the green paper stands out from the yellow for a 3D effect. When the light shines in on this one, and moves across throughout the day, it makes shadows inside the circles and the green (which has a shimmer to it) lights up beautifully.
