I love flowers & gardens. The saddest part of flowers is that we have to watch something so beautiful die when it's plucked from the ground, or when Summer turns to Fall. In the fall, I picked some of my favorites, dried them in a way so as to preserve their true color, and cast them in resin. In this piece, the flowers actually stand out about 1/2 inch from the background and can be moved back, forth, up, or down slightly. I love the preservation of the beauty of summer through the winter.
